Lusso Mare Istria is a private luxury villa on the quiet edge of Savudrija, on the northern Istrian coast of Croatia, just a short drive from Umag. Built in 2022 and set across 475 m² of indoor living space on a generous 1,300 m² plot, the villa was designed as a discreet retreat where the pace slows down the moment you arrive. Clean architectural lines, warm natural materials and wide glass doors blur the line between interior and garden, so the pool, the terraces and the Istrian light are always close at hand.
The location was chosen deliberately — close enough to Umag, the Slovenian border and the wider Istrian peninsula to make day trips effortless, yet tucked away enough that the surroundings stay calm. From the villa, the sea is only steps away: a stretch of coastline you can reach on foot, framed by pine trees and the open water of the Adriatic.
Privacy, space and calm
Lusso Mare Istria is let to a single group at a time — there is no shared access, no adjoining units and no passing traffic through the property. The 1,300 m² plot gives every corner of the garden, pool deck and terrace room to breathe, so guests can spread out without ever feeling overlooked. Living areas, kitchen and dining space flow into one another and open directly onto the terrace and pool deck, so the villa never feels divided into "indoor" and "outdoor" — it is one continuous space to live in. At the centre of the outdoor area is a 72 m² private pool, framed by sun loungers, shaded seating and open lawn — reserved exclusively for the guests staying at the villa. Mornings here tend to start with a swim before breakfast, and evenings often end the same way, with the pool lit and the terrace quiet. Because the plot measures 1,300 m², there is room for the pool deck, a separate lounging terrace and garden space to sit apart from one another, so a family with children and a couple looking for quiet can each find their own corner.
